Tea for Me

Karma has been kind to me lately.  I've won several giveaways recently, including one dozen beautifully decorated autumn leaf cookies from Lisa at The Enchanted Oven.  A very apt name for Lisa's blog, because what she bakes is pure magic!

I pulled out my oak leaf tray by Chris Madden Home Collection to display the cookies.  The colors of the cookies are all my favorites: orange, yellow, rusty red and golden brown.  The "veins" of the leaf are piped in chocolate.

Included with the cookies was a container of orange sanding sugar, Halloween cupcake liners, and an autumn dish towel, which I have used as my 'tea cloth' today.

A close up of the oak leaf design on the tray, the pretty cream color doesn't photograph well.

I was absolutely in the mood for a pot of tea and took out my Hazel Atlas apple-y cups and saucers.  I have apple pie plates I bought at a craft fair many years ago, and recently saw these cups and saucers on Ebay.

A pot of orange rooibus tea from my favorite tea room,  The Talking Tea Cup.

I've put out an extra cup, in case you want to join me.

Yum.  Thank you, Lisa!

I am taking my tea and cookies 'on the road' and joining

Trisha at Sweetology 101 for Tea Party Tuesday
The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays

More to come on other the other 'wins'.
