Pinktober

I am joining the Artsy Girl Connection for Project P.I.N.K. today.

70% of women diagnosed with breast cancer have no identifying risk factors for the disease.

25% of women with breast cancer are younger than 50 years old.

80% of lumps in women's breasts are caused by benign changes, cysts or other conditions.

Have you gotten a mammogram?

I need to schedule one myself!!!!

This post is dedicated to the memory of my friend, Carol.  She fought a brave fight for 9 years.  She was, and still is, an inspiration to me.  A really good friend.  xoxoxoxo

Sharing this post with The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays and Natasha at 5 Minutes Just For Me for Pinning & Singing on the weekend.

  8. Most of us know at least one person who has succumbed to breast cancer. There has to be a cure out there and we have to keep fighting for it's discovery. Don't put off getting that mammogran. Thanks for the reminder, Barbara.
