Come to my New Year's Eve Party

I decided I want to spend New Year's Eve at home, all comfy cozy, and share it with all of you

I made a cranberry punch

stuffed mushrooms
A few hors d'oeuvres for us to nibble

We can just relax and take our time

Or we can break out the bubbly

I have some noisemakers and confetti for midnight

Of course there will be cake!

And we can reminisce

Mr. New Year's Eve himself

Guy Lombardo

I feel a little nostalgic, a good dip can lighten the moment

Here's a preview getting the ball ready in Times Square.  We have a better view right from the living room  ;-)

  9. Oh I'd love to be at the party. The dip reminds me that I need chips. Have lots of dip and no chips. That's never good. Pretzels just don't cut it nor carrot sticks.

I remember Guy Lombardo. New Year's Eve has not been the same since and I don't watch anything except the dropping of the ball IF I am still awake.

    But, but,
Actually Eve is only for ourselves unlike before my bro and mom were alive.
In Japan we have famous song program which female and male singers compete. Enjoying Eve's dinner with family watching the programis common way to spend that night.
Well, I wish you you are here with us and bringing all these "hors d'oeuvres for us to nibble"

  40. Thank you for this festive post!

I was under the weather for New Years so it didn't feel like a huge celebration!

This helped make up for it!

Hope your 2012 is filled with creativity, joy and lots of happy times!
