God Sent Us a Saviour

If our greatest need had been information,
God would have sent us an educator.

If our greatest need had been technology,
God would have sent us a scientist.

If our greatest need had been money,
God would have sent us an economist.

If our greatest need had been pleasure,
God would have sent us an entertainer.

But our greatest need was forgiveness,
So God sent us a Saviour.

Wishing you peace, joy, and love this Christmas.

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.

  14. This is a lovely post. I love those little angel candles! I remember when I was a child, we'd go to what we called "the dime store" and buy candles like that for the holidays. They also made Christmas trees and Santas...and turkeys and Pilgrims for Thanksgiving. Happy New Year to you!
    Hugs, Cindy
