Year-End Review 2011

I started blogging in March of this year.  I never expected it to become such a huge part of my life.  I have such fun visiting and commenting on other blogs.  I have started to really "see" the world around me.  I actually "look" at things in a different way (especially colors!).  I thank all of you for supporting me and having faith in my blog.

My top three posts this year with the most "views" are:

(1)  Celebrity Cook Along with Rachael Ray

Gruyere Mac & Cheese

(2)  The Talking Teacup

(3) I Love Fall

Blogging is a great way to capture life's best days and all those "Kodak moments".  I realize how truly blessed I am, to be able to spend time with friends and enjoy all there is for us.

My personal favorite posts are

(1) Come to My Halloween Party

(2) Kiwi's Sweet 16

(3)  A Lovely Summer Sunday

I have been thinking about resolutions, and in addition to the usual ones like eating better and moving (exercising) more, I want to

get back into old hobbies like crocheting

try some new craft projects.  I want to paint my guest bedroom's brass headboard and lamp with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

I want to practice on my little portable sewing machine

and I want to get my tiny yard presentable so that it is "blog worthy".

tomatoes and basil pre-blogging days

All right, I have put it all out there via this post, and I will hold myself accountable to all of you with upcoming ones  ;-).  It is certainly not for lack of inspiration or tutorials!

Sharing this with The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays, the first one for 2012!
