Feelin' Blue

This time of year it can be easy to feel a little blue.

Just feelin' the color!

The days are short, you can't run out without bundling yourself up, heat bills can be upsetting.

I don't make very many plans at night during the winter, if I can help it.

It's more fun to be cozy at home

Snuggling up as best we can

Enjoying a cup of tea or hot cocoa

But before we know it

It will be spring!

Winter dies into the spring, to be born again in the autumn. - Marche Blumenberg

It has been way too long since I joined Sally for Blue Monday

Just had to do a blue post.  And also joining Seasonal Sundays

at the Tablescaper.

All photos are from my "Feelin' Blue" board, except the tea cup which is from my "Tea for Me" board, on Pinterest.

  7. Barbara F.,
Hi! I love the blue colors not the blues...I think it's the being shut in doors & also causes cabin fever. I think something's in the air, our Lowes is putting out lots of seeds and gardening products.

  13. This post hits home with me. I often fight depression and winter is the worst. With the big Valentine Holiday coming up, and being single, does it as well. This was very clever how you did it. made me smile and that is good. Richard from My Old Historic House.

  17. IT has been a different kind of winter, but I am sick of it and very anxious to see green grass again.
On the other hand I do love the colour Blue.

  19. I agree, but this year we have had such mild weather that we beat January. January is always the ugly month here and now we are into February. It is fun to cuddle by the fire and eat comfort foods during this "blue" time of year.
