Let's Dish Party at Cuisine Kathleen

There is a store here on Staten Island that I consider to be a dish paradise.   It is called Fishs Eddy.  Strange name, yes, but loaded with great dishware, glasses, silverware, serving pieces, and, on occasion,  Mario Batali.  He has done several book signings.

The dishware is mostly restaurant supply quality. The prices are pretty good for this area, but if you see something you like, buy it or it may be gone next time you go back.

These plates caught my eye - here is a close up

Images of the Brooklyn Bridge, Twin Towers, other points of interest in NYC.  Makes a nice charger, I think.

Items vary constantly and you will never know what you will find.

A little "Brooklynese" humor

Safari-themed table?

Even pretty little statues

I bought a few things and will be sharing them in another post soon.  I also really need to find a program that makes easy mosaics!  I checked out PicMonkey but I don't think it has the collage feature just yet.

  5. Now THAT is the kind of place that I would love to visit. There is something about massive quantities of things that gets my motor running for some odd reason.

I love the NY themed plates/chargers. I would love to see a tablescape on that theme. You could even use the "cawfee" cup to go along with it.

Hope your eyes are still healing well! I've been away for a while so I am just trying to get caught up.
