The Waiting Game

My view right now:

My neighbor already has a piece of siding dangling..........

We are about 28 hours away from land fall.  Mass transit will be shut down at 7 PM.  NYC public schools closed tomorrow.  Mandatory evacuations for those in "Zone A".  Broadway shows cancelled tonight and tomorrow.

Sandy is not playing fair.

There was a 7.7 earthquake in British Colombia, Canada.  Universe trying to send a message?

  5. I'm glad you are not in Flood Zone A, Barbara, and did not have to evacuate! I live in zone "B" and so I'm worried about the storm surge. We are near lots of inlets and salt marshes.

Stay dry, warm and cozy. Let's hope we all keep our power!

  6. Barbara, I hope that you are safe during this storm. We used to live on the coast, so I understand the apprehension and fear that hurricanes bring. I'm hoping you don't lose your electricity and praying for your safety.

  9. It is indeed a waiting game, and I'm not good at waiting! I keep logging into weather.com to see what's happening in my daughter's neck of the woods at the moment.

I do NOT like hurricanes. I did hear about the earthquake, too. Yikes!

    Stay safe!!!
