Note Card Party

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, families and friends of those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.  We must be ever vigilant and never let our guards down.

It is the third Wednesday of the month, time for Vee's Note Card Party, and I wanted to remember a beautiful and peaceful drive I took a couple of summers ago.  These were taken at Washington's Crossing State Park in New Jersey.

Please visit Vee and tell her I said 'Hi'.  Thanks for hosting, too.

  10. Dear Barbara,

You have captured peaceful and serene places perfectly with your notecard linky post.

Just beautiful - and with the latest terrorist attacks on our soil, well, serenity and peace is exactly what the doctor ordered. We ALL need it now.

Thanks for your visit and sweet comment today.

  15. Barbara you have selected such a beautiful collection of cards depicting everything that is 'good' in our world.
Let it be a lesson that we will not be intimidated by the twisted minds and heinous acts of a minority.
    David Levithan's quote is perfect.
    A very sad time.

I adore your blog design too! I love how the filigree on the edges look 3D. It reminds me of frosting and I want to scrape off a little and enjoy.
