A Very Favorite Thing

Today my feathered baby, Kiwi, turns 18.......I can't believe I have had this two ounce bird for that long.  She came home with me on September 23rd, 1995 when she was eight weeks old.

She is showing signs of age, and is a real "Princess"

At 18, one usually goes to college....or out to work!  About time she contributed a little something to the household expenses.

Happy 18th Birthday to my intelligent, sometimes sweet, sometimes grouchy, little feathered friend!

We've been through a lot together in 18 years.
