  1. Sigh ~ I know you have had it with this.
I hope you enjoy your indoor plans and soon the white stuff will be a mere memory (wishful thinking here).
We tackled our bonus room yesterday. Not a lot of fun, but sooo nice when it was done.

  4. The sun is out where you are, so I hope a lot of the ice melts, Barbara. The front of our house faces North so we hardly ever get any direct sun there and will have snow in front until May, while the houses across the street they don't have any snow in front at all! The one advantage we have form this situation is that our lawn grows greener and stronger in summer than those across the street as the sun dries their lawns out faster.

  6. Shoveling the driveway is what we'll be doing today, Barbara. :) Our house is down in a "hollow" with a northern exposure, and the snow is just not melting. I hope you have a good and productive day. I know we're all going to be ready when spring arrives this year!

    Hugs to you,

  10. Dearest Barbara;
So sorry that your plan had to be canceled. Oh, the snow scene makes me feel unfair (p;) We only had a couple of times of sprinkling snow this year in my area.
Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday, my friend.

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

  11. Ice keeps me in, too. I don't want to risk a fall and I know that you really don't having gone that route before. Warming trend coming, though, right?

  13. I hear you Barbara....I can't believe how much snow is out there!!! And the ice under it is so scary. I have been a bit of a cave woman with all the cold weather...but yes like you plenty of indoor stuff to do!

  18. I will not complain about cold.
I will not complain about cold.
I will not complain about cold.
    I will...

(Have to finish this manually, I guess. I have given myself a grade school punishment for complaining about cold and ice for a few days. LOL)

  19. When you came by today I realized I hadn't visited it for a long time...sure enough, I fell off your Follower List. We're back on track. Yes, ice is nasty. And 75 inches! Wow! We are supposed to get hit with thunderstorms tomorrow (of all things!), with 50 mph winds. Too strange for me.

I hope you are getting around better than when I was last here. Sorry it's been so long.

    XO,
    Jane

  21. Hello Barbara,
Brrrr it does look to be cold with you. Here in Budapest there has been no snow to speak of which is most unusual for this time of year. And, what can be a better way of braving the cold than hibernating in the warm indoors. Lovely!

  22. Down here in Florida everyone is talking about the NY weather! Glad to hear you were finally able to get out and about. This will sure be one for the records! All I have to say is start planning your winter getaway for next year!

  23. I really don't blame you at all for not wanting to negotiate icy steps or anything icy. We are getting ready for another week of cold, ice, and snow here in Ohio. I fell a few weeks back and I am still getting aches and pains from the thumping I took. I am just so glad I did not break anything. There really is so much to do to get ready for the Easter Season coming up so rapidly, I am sure you didn't get bored......Have a wonderful week..... Candy

  25. We received a few inches of snow yesterday and the roads today are not all that great. Think I'll stay home too! :)

  26. Barbara, I think it's time for you to think seriously about moving away from all the snow! I think you've gotten even more snow, haven't you? Hope it all melts for you soon!

  27. It's coming our way again Sunday into Monday - 12+ inches at this point. Glad that you stayed home safe and sound.

Spring is just around the corner...or so they claim:)
